Term coined by R.J. Rummel to denote any and all instances of governments deliberately killing their own citizens on a large scale, intentionally or unintentionally.
History is full of democides, from Nazi Germany to all the atrocities committed under communist regimes.
What is going on the the US today can be described as such as well. We have politicians encouraging riots, inflicting illogical mandate regimes that carry high death tolls related to the incredible amount of life disruptions that have occurred as a side effect; people loosing their lively hoods, depression related, unable to get to their doctors, see their families, and side effects from the vaccines.
